Introduction
I went to see Avatar over the weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. I’ve always been a fan of sci-fi, but I also like movies that are different and unique. While Avatar is not necessarily groundbreaking in terms of story or character development, it does have many compelling aspects that make it worth seeing:
Avatar was a great movie.
Avatar is a great movie. It was visually stunning, had a great story and the acting was good. The technology used to create this movie is amazing too!
The story takes place on Pandora, an alien planet where humans have set up mining operations in order to obtain unobtainium (a rare mineral). The Na’vi people live on Pandora but their land and way of life is being threatened by humankind. A paraplegic Marine named Jake Sully is sent to infiltrate the Na’vi so that he can help destroy their home before it’s too late for them to survive without any resources left at all on this planet anymore
The technology was awe inspiring.
The technology was awe inspiring. The 3D was great, and the graphics were impressive.
It was captivating from the opening scene to the last.
Avatar is a movie that will leave you captivated from the opening scene to the last. The plot was easy to follow, but not completely predictable. The technology was awe inspiring and made me wish I could live in a world where this existed. It’s like watching a 3D episode of Star Trek or Star Wars except it’s real life!
There were some parts that were difficult to follow, especially when the humans first arrived on Pandora.
The first scenes were a little confusing, but the movie quickly got better. The plot was easy enough to follow, but not completely predictable.
It was kind of like watching a 3D episode of Star Trek or Star Wars, except you can’t watch it in 2D because that would ruin the effect.
Avatar is a 3D movie, which means you can see things in the movie that you can’t see in real life. For example, there are flying creatures with four legs and wings–but they look like nothing you’ve ever seen before because they’re not real.
The 3D technology isn’t perfect yet but it’s still amazing!
The plot was easy enough to follow, but not completely predictable.
The plot was easy enough to follow, but not completely predictable. The movie had a lot of action and adventure, which kept me interested in what would happen next. However, there were some parts where I could see where the story was going and knew what would happen next because it followed a certain pattern that has been used many times before (for example: someone dies unexpectedly). This made me feel like I had already seen this movie before or something similar to it when watching Avatar as well as some other movies/shows such as How To Train Your Dragon 2 & Shrek 1-3
I loved how they married new technology with old school storytelling (like saving the world from greed and corporate exploitation).
What I loved most about Avatar is how they married new technology with old school storytelling (like saving the world from greed and corporate exploitation). The old school storytelling was not predictable, but it did provide a great contrast to the new technology. Finally, by using this method of storytelling, they were able to show how their new technology works in an easy-to-understand way for audiences who may not be familiar with it yet.
If you like sci-fi films or are looking for something entertaining and different, this is a must see!
If you like sci-fi films or are looking for something entertaining and different, this is a must see! Avatar is visually stunning. The computer animation technology used to create it has advanced so much that it feels like we’re watching real people on screen. The story itself was interesting and kept me engaged throughout the entire film. It’s also worth mentioning that there aren’t any other movies out there with similar plots so we have no idea where this one could go from here (and I’m sure they’ll make more).
I highly recommend going to see Avatar in 3D if possible because it really adds to the experience of watching what happens in Pandora.
Conclusion
Avatar is a great movie that anyone can enjoy. It has action, adventure and plenty of humor. I would recommend it to anyone who wants something different than what’s typically offered by Hollywood studios these days.
